Hosts named p01.mengwi.com … pNN.mengwi.com perform email address verification on behalf of the list owners who supply the addresses. They open an SMTP session, issue MAIL FROM and RCPT TO, read the server's response, and disconnect.

No message is ever delivered. The session is closed before DATA. These hosts do not send marketing, bulk, or transactional mail of any kind.

How we behave

Forward-confirmed reverse DNS: PTR and HELO match, and resolve back to the same address.
Rate limited per destination and per source address. 4xx responses are respected and retried slowly; 5xx responses are final.
An address is never queried twice within 90 days — the previous answer is reused.
Any host that signals it does not want to be queried is added to a permanent exclusion list.

If you do not want to be queried

Write to abuse@mengwi.com with the domain or IP range. It is added to the exclusion list on receipt — no explanation required, no confirmation loop.
